Design Notes

To be compatible with Genabler assembly, the part has inward-facing EarI sites at the ends. When assembled by BioBrick assembly, five N-terminal residues MetAlaSerSerSer- and one C-terminal Ala residue will be added to the original sequence of BBa_E0040. When assembled with normal BioBrick assembly, the part contains a start and a stop codon, however, if Genabler assembly is used, the resulting part does not contain a start and a stop codon. Such design enables to use standardised linkers that contain start and stop codons in Genabler assembly.

Source

GFP is based on the BioBrick BBa_E0040.
